Gold Coast Medi Spa is a new spa opening up in eastern Long Island. When speaking with the client they were looking to really bring in the feel of Long Island while also creating a brand with luxurious feel to it. Often times bringing nautical elements to a design can come off as cheap and we didn't want this to look like a bait and tackle shop. We had to carefully curate elements to bring into the brand image that gave the feeling of Long Island and the ocean but done tastefully.

In doing so we went with a Navy Blue to tie in this idea of the water surrounding us. We also chose a gold as it pops beautifully off of the Navy and also adds glamorous look. The clam shell design we ended up going with is a subtle mark but say's so much. The clam shell represents the duality of beauty on both the inside and outside.
It is sophisticated and pretty and also is something sought after by many. We believe we hit the mark by creating an elevated logo design with a coastal Long Island feel that connects directly to their customer.
